Uganda’s second WordPress #NextGen event is happening on July 5th 2024 at the National ICT Innovation Hub, Nakawa. Organised under the theme “Problem Solving with WordPress”, this one-day event will have schools and tertiary institutions compete in two categories i.e. The Rising Stars Category (Primary and Secondary Schools) and the Explorers Category for post secondary institutions.
This WordPress event comes shortly after the WordPress in Education Showcase that was held in Masaka on April 6th 2024 where students showcased their projects built with WordPress.

Alongside the students who will be attending the event, there is a line up of notable attendees, sponsors, speakers and volunteers.

The actual cost of attending this event is UGX 100,000 (USD 26.00) and comes with a branded T-shirt, cap and special recognition as a micro sponsor.
